CTH PP, Calumet County, WI, Modified Rubblization with MHB

Modified rubblization – significant spalling of 8” thick, jointed reinforced concrete pavement in preparation for an asphalt overlay on CTH PP, near Brillion in Calumet County, WI, performed by Antigo Construction using a MHB Badger Breaker® and a grid roller in July, 2021.  Northeast Asphalt milled and crushed the existing asphalt overlay and then placed it on the rubblized concrete and then followed with a 4” thick asphalt overlay paved in 2 lifts.  4 lane miles were rubblized in 2 working days.
