Videos Crack & Seat 2-Lane Highways

Crack & seat of 8” to 12” thick, jointed plain concrete pavement in preparation for an asphalt overlay on USH14/83 northeast of Pierre in Hughes County, SD, performed by Antigo Construction using a T8600 Badger Breaker® and a heavy proof roller in May, 2021. Traffic was maintained in adjacent lane with flagging and pilot car while crack & seat and asphalt overlay were performed one lane at a time. 11 lane miles were cracked & seated in 2 working days.
